Conditions we can help with ….
Nutrition can lead the way to more healthier, happier and more active lifestyle!

Statistics show that osteoporosis affects 1 in 4 women and 1 in 40 men during their lifetime causing a loss of calcium from the bones meaning that bones become brittle and fracture easily.

It is now recognised that osteoporosis is not a simple lack of calcium, which is put right with calcium supplementation, many other factors are involved such as the activity of vitamin D, your levels of oestrogen as well as other secondary conditions.

From a nutritional approach, there are three contributory factors that can be addressed;

1. Excessive protein consumption - leading to leaching of calcium from the bones to neutralise excess blood acidity.

2. Oestrogen dominance.

3. Deficiency of bone building nutrients; calcium, magnesium, vitamin D, Vitamin C, zinc, silica, phosphorus and boron.

These factors can be addressed through nutritional intervention and lifestyle changes. Fractures can be significantly reduced by providing your body with the building blocks for bone building. Your Nutrition Mission nutritional therapist will identify and address any contributing factors and provide you with your personal treatment plan for you to follow.
I have been really impressed with the speed of responses to my questions. Also I felt for the first time someone was looking at the whole of my child, rather than just treating symptoms.
